Does he choose his own cabin or it just happens that way?

Yes, he requests the same cabin #. He doesn't like "change".:eyeroll:

Really, it's a good location and I can't blame him.

Is he just that supersticious?:blackcloud:I hope I get up somewhat high on this cruise.  We were on 1018 on the Glory.  We could walk right out of our room to the Lido deck.  It was nice that way.

I stopped and seen my chiropractor today.  I think she may join us on this trip.  I also talked to my college roomate yesterday and he's interested as well.  So that's 5 maybe's here.  If I could just get one to come with us now!!  :whoopass:  I feel like I am a salesman trying to get people to buy stuff.  What's the conversion rate from maybe's to cruise bookings?

No, he just liked the cabin. It's mid-ship near the elevators.

I have found that the "conversion rate" is really quite low. If only one out of five books that's still a positive!

FYI, usually, with a group, everyone will be near each other. Wherever that may be.

So talk about rooms....what do you guys perfer ......front...middle...or back of ship? I only get sea sick if the sea are really ruff. Meaning, I only got sea sick once and don't wish that on anyone! :vomit:  lol...but anyways do you find the middle of the ship to be "less movement?" I heard that it helps, but not sure if its true? Also, I found this true..... just start pounding drinks when you feel the "motion of the ocean" start to kick in and you'll be just fine! :drink::fingers LOL!
Wow, it has been slow around here....but I can't say anything...I have been MIA too!

Hey Everyone!! I finally made it over here after Jason's been trying to tell me about it.  I've been really busy with school and working so I haven't had anytime to get on here.  I hope everyone is well.  P.S. I wouldn't mind being on the Panorama Deck.  We had a great time when we went out of Post Canavaral with this deck.  Anyways, as long as I have a room to rest my head after many days and nights of partying who cares.  Plus I will hopefully be celebrating getting into nursing school and my birthday.  Bring on the liquor is what I say!!  Well gotta run, have a great week everyone. :shottime:

Our cabin was high (9th floor?) and up front on the Glory.  The Fantasy we were on the middle level (6th Floor) in the middle of the ship.  Both ships had extremely rough nights at sea but I honestly can say I didn't feel any big difference.

From and engineering perspective, I would think that the lower on the ship the better.  If you had a pencil and you rocked it back and forth, the lower you are on the pencil the less distance you travel relative to the top.   :brightidea:

Me, I prefer to be up high.  Let the boat ROCK!!:rockon:I sleep better when the boat starts rocking.  Plus its like a free buzz!!  :beersign:

Is it me or do we get a new list icons everytime we type a new message? ---> :hands:

As far as deck level, I'd rather be a little lower, just because I have a fear of heights! But I love a balcony. Go figure!

I've been aft and forward, didn't really notice much difference.
Just give me a balcony and some rum, and I'll be happy:bouncy:

Good morning!

Good to "see" ya here Kathy!! I like your avatar.;)

As for cabin selection, I don't get sea-sick so it doesn't matter. My Wife does so she prefers low & center. As Jason said, cabins nearer the water-line and mid-ship are better if you do tend to get sick. I prefer a balcony or oceanview as long as it's on a ship!

You only like her avatar because you are in the background!!:bootyshake:

Have you guys been using the MySpace website?  I'm not getting alot of feedback on the site but I do notice the page hits keep increasing.  I was hoping people would leave a few comments and such on there.  I have trying to post information in the blog to pass to everyone as I think of it.  Let me know if I need to add anything else.

Amy, have you heard anything from your cruise buddy Allison about joining us?  Last I heard she had two cabins booked but had not put down a deposit.

I hope Cliff and Deb get to come as well.

Brenda said she still has not made a decision on which cruises she will be taking next year.  Maybe she will come with us last minute.

I swear I have not seen this smiley before today--->:heeels:

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it! I was just thinking how "Grand & Glorious" it was! I actually like the "Capers" photo better.:big grin:

I look at the MS site a few times per day. It's looking good!

Haven't heard from Cliff & Debbie but will check with them today.

I'm not sure what's taking Allison so long. I know she's been REALLY busy with her business.
I've also been checking out the myspace site. It looks great! I think if anyone has been to any of the ports before and has pictures we should get those on there as well!

Jason & Kathy have been to at least a couple of the ports. Jason?

I have been to all of these ports.  I will take the suggestion and get those pictures up somewhere.  Not sure whether to stick them in an album or try to get them on the main page somehow.  I will see what I can do though.  Thanks for the feedback!

I had added more pictures of the ports.  Some of mine, some I borrowed on the internet.  Hopefully that was what you guys were looking for.  Anything else come to mind that we may need for it?  :brightidea:

Same here!!  Got two more maybes today.  I'm going to try and make a flyer for Kathy to put out at work.  Would any of you guys like me to send it to you as well?  You may be able to put it up on a bulletin board at your work?
