Actually, I can understand the mistake! I was wearing a red tee-shirt one day, and what I thought was a big bee or something zero'ed in on me. I started swatting, cuz I was startled, and it quickly buzzed off. I wanted to kick myself when I realized it was a hummingbird. Here I had my chance to see one really up close, and I blew it!
