Here is a site that has a short video of the France/Norway. Unfortunately some of the shots of this once beautiful liner are sad.

I'll have to show this to my mom. She's coming up for a week tomorrow, and we sailed on The Norway back in 85.

I cruised on the Norway back in 94. I feel lucky to have been able to cruise on what will be one of the most remembered liners. She was beautiful. I give NCL credit for extending her life as long as they did.

FOMT killed the Norway!  We were booked on her when she blew!

I watched this documentary a couple of months ago, it was good.

The sick part....... watching them rip her apart to sell for recycled chunks of metal etc. The workers had no protection and were exposed big time. (guess no laws governing hazardous waste. I'm thinking it had something to do with copper or lead. The Indian workers barely had clothes on their backs.

Any yes, it was a beautiful ship, wish I had the chance to see it.
