Ann-guess we are on the same wave lenght so I know we'll become friends! One woman I met on my first CC roll call is like that. We have become best friends even though she lives in NYC. I'll be at my computer thinking I should email her and bam!an email from her pops up because she was thinking of me. I understand you all have a history of cruising together and after Sept I'll be part of that history-hopefully not so much we "go down in history"And hopfully our traveling companions will hit it off as well. Jeff always feels left out because he says he doesn't post so he doesn't know anyone.Does your husband feel the same way?I tell him that the other halfs never know anyone so he shouldn't feel that way!To everyone here-thanks for making me feel welcome.

I'm right here. It's nice to be missed. To be honest,I feel a little left out when you guys start talking about things I don't know about. Give me some time to catch up with all of you.
I was reading about Grand Turk and I guess there are places where you can rent Jeeps for the day. Sounds like something Jeff and I might be interested in. Anyone else?We did the dune buggies last year through the ship and it was fun but very pricey(what isn't through the ship)!
Nice day here-cold and windy but the SUN is out!I have the front door open so Abby can lay in the sun in front of it.
Don't worry about jumping into any conversation - we'll explain if you ask. To be honest I haven't given much thought to the excursions yet - but I can't blame you for being excited and starting your research. I'd like to get Karl involved so he feels part of the cruise also.
It is sunny here also and my hubbie is finally finished shoveling, mind you he shovels close to the house after our snow removal contractor comes by.
I"m going to bury myself in the basement and paint all afternoon. I'm way behind a project that needs to be finished for this Thursday. Girlfriend retirement party !
Talk to you all later - enjoy your afternoon.

Too funny, when I was telling Bud about the Jeep thing we were discussing the same thing. He always feels left out because he does not post either and he does not care what we gab about I do try and fill him occasionally and he say "oh, ok". and Karl is going to be completely clueless......and shocked probably .
What deck are you on?

I finished painting the piece 5 minutes ago. I will now let it cure for 2 days and on Wednesday I should be able to apply 2 coats of varnish. Pierrette will get her retirement gift in time after all.
Pierre is making dinner Yahoo !!! Pasta sauce and cooked chicken in it since I had defrosted checken.
Ann did you buy anything special ?
Laura glad you've got everyone squared out. The two photos I posted are the 2 people cruising in September minus Nina that is.

Morning Ann
Didn't sleep very well last night - acid reflux - no wonder after 2 plates of pasta tomatoe sauce - DUH:oops:
So I'm home :cloudnine:ctually playing hooky also !
I"ll have to ask Karl those questions and get back to Bud. One thing I know - he loves wine and Porto. But which beer he likes ?

I'm the one who added the hot spice
So far I've done 2 hours of putting away old correspondence and miscellaneous things that jsut seem to take up residence everywhere. So happy with myself., Now I'll go varnish finished pieces. And relax.....that is why I stayed home isn't

Bud I asked Karl what kind of music he likes and here is the answer:
industrial, electronica, some ambient and orchestrated music like classical and movie scores
Strange kid
Which beer ?
i'm not a big beer person myself, so hard to say ... usually european beers is what i like ... more malt than fizz. Strong preference to white beers, especially the belgian Hoegarden (or however it's spelled)

He is not strange He probably said Weiss Beers? Bud is going to miss going out on his "beer run" in the Islands. He and Wolf would go and put them in their pockets (now that is strange) so he thought Karl would like to go with him and possibly AJ.
