Thought I would add this to the roll calls to see if any CTT'ers might be joining Gabriele and I on our tequila filled tour of Mexico....3 sea days from SFO (awesome) till we arrive in Alcapulco, them make our way back north up the coast port hopping, Z town, PV and then Cabo to finish the tequila tasting with Sammy Hagar's finest...then 2 more sea days back to SFO....Can't beat a 10 day cruise with 5 sea days!!!!!  Come join us....theres plenty of tequila for all!!! :martini:

Mike,
We would love to join you!!! Alas, I am going on a Panama Canal cruise and just get back from it on 4/6.  Not enough time to get home, do laundry, get repacked and wing our way out to the left coast!
Let me know whenever you plan your next cruise!!!

sounds good!  I'm not sure yet when we will plan our next cruise.....what do you ladies think of a CTT cruise in Feb or March 08?? Or maybe Alaska in August 08?  We should put something together, get a concensous on who may go and can figure it out in the chat room one evening....

Feb & Mar are usually out for us......that's my husband's 2 ski months!  My mom and I
generally cruise the end of March, first part of April every year, but we do 10-day cruises.
I have been thinking of Alaska again, and August would be a PERFECT month to do it!
I think Alaska in Aug of 08 would be very do-able!!!!!!  Let's talk about it!

sounds doable....we've done 2 Alaska cruises but both were in May and next time we want to see the Salmon running which starts in July and goes thru Sep....Sep weather sometimes iffy so August sounds best.....we have even discussed a possible cruise tour next time but those are optional...you gonna be on chat tonight?

Had to go grab my vacation memo. We are blacked out the entire month of August from taking vacation. Usually it's just the first couple of weeks of each month, but that time of year is very busy for us as is the time leading up to Christmas. *sigh*

I might could be able to squeeze in a 4-5 day cruise in Feb wihtout my DH (his week of vacation in Feb will be spent on the ski slopes).
Too many kids cruising in the summer for me....although an Alaska cruise might not have hundreds of kids on board like a Caribbean cruise.
What about a May cruise? Just before school lets out.

May is a good time for the Caribbean, Mike. Not too hot yet and (most of the) kids are still in school.  Do you like beaches & water-activites (western caribbean), or shopping & sightseeing (eastern caribbean)?

At least I don't have to worry about you wanting to sail out of San Juan!!!!!!

We really don't mind either one...but I would like to check out PB Tom though...that sounds fun!!  Also wouldn't mind one of the newest ships, never done that before.....also it seems a lot of us in management can't get away till the middle of the month so maybe leaving between the 12th and 18th will be good while still having most kids in school....whatcha think??

As long as we don't wait till Memorial Day weekend, we should be OK.  And I agree, going to COZ and seeing PB Tom would be fab!!!!

After I get back from my ski trip next week, I'll see what our options are.   If you have time over the next week, or two,  and get a chance to check in to a few options, let me know.  I doubt I'll have much time before we leave.

THen, when we're out if SF in June, maybe we can all get together for dinner and make our plans!!!!!!

:drink:   :drink:    :drink:  PB, here we come!!!!!!

Mike, DW and I would love to sail this 10 day itinerary some day. We love those sea days too! Our girls are too young to leave at home and 10 days is too long to impose on family and friends to keep them during the school year. Unfortunately, this itinerary is only available during the school year.

We would also love to sail the HAL 10 day that goes up into the Sea of Cortez, in addition to the Mexican Riviera.

You certainly know the city better than I do. As long as there is something non-seafood available (DW is alergic), we will be okay.

LOL  I guess its if a group as a non meat eater with them...damn...making myself hungry...may have to go there this weekend!! LOL
