Hi Petra!
We're booked for this one too! I"m Flying Pirate on the Dark Side, Laurel from the Pearl T/A. Just can't stay way from those new ships!
I hope that the seas are smoother this time. We've also booked the prior cruise on 11/21, the Western Med/NoAfrica 12 day. Since it's such a circus for us to get to Barcelona, it's a might-as-well.
The only drawback I can see is that Claudio is the concierge, a nice man I'm sure, but we found his service lacking......no matter Klausi will be aboard so no worries.
We look forward to seeing you anf Joerg again.

Welcome aboard Laurel & Charlie!!!
Nice to meet you again. You promissed at the Farewell Dinner at La Cucina to be on this TA again so we counted on you when we booked it. KlausiMausi has to stock enough Foster's for Joerg and Phil.

We try to be at Papenburg in September for the Ems passage. We really hope this will happen on a weekend.
Do you know what the Gem is doing between Boston & New York in December? All I know is the 2-nighter.

Almost
Two hurricanes with up to 148 knots of winds and 15 m waves. Quite an adventure. We really enjoyed it.
Have a look at http://usa06.sellie.de/ and http://www.sellie.de/PearlTI768.htm

| Get ready for a storm. I am thinking about booking this cruise. This weeks special alows you to book as a single traveler for half the normal price. BA for $700 including taxes and NCF. Same cabin for two $1400.

Hi everyone,
Add me to the list, just booked. You didn't think you would sail without me. Smooth seas or not it is going to be great to see you all again.

If the weather is changing a little bit until Sunday ... I mean if it stops raining cats & dogs we definitely drive up to Papenburg to say HI to our beautiful GEM and wave to Klaus. I guess he already is onboard. Please keep your fingers crossed and you will see some pics of the floating by sunday night.
If you want to see any onboard shots of the Gem please contact Klaus to let us take some on sunday.

The 12th it is but they did let some of the Germain media onboard while the Pearl was still in the hall. That is what the link is from.

Thanks. We really, really had a fantastic time!!! We always had to stop Sellie from jumping into the port basin. She's totally tired now.
Unfortunately we couldn't beat our time (2 hours for 330 km) on our return journey ... too much traffic!!! That's the reason for posting so lately.

I only watched the video 4 times - just great. I see theme advertising here - The Gem, loven it.
I did take the liberty of sending the link to Klaus and Colin. I even gave you both credit by real name. I hope it puts as big a smile on their faces as it did mine.
