This'll be my first HAL cruise and my first trip to Alaska! I'm counting the days!

Hi Sara!
Unfortunately, we don't have a whole lot of HAL cruisers here. If you have any e-friends that are HAL cruisers, invite them over.....we'd love to build up this forum!
I've only been on HAL once before, but would like to try them again.

Yes it will, as you wish dining starts the first week of Jan 08 on Oosterdam...we will be taking our first HAL cruise 1/12/08 to the Mexican Riviera in an aft balcony cabin....anything you want me to check out for you on Oosterdam? I suck at writing reviews but I am good at answering questions!

We did an Alaskan Cruisetour with HAL in 2006 and it is my favorite vacation. Alaska is fantastic! It was only a 4 day cruise (9 day land tour) but I wish they had had as you wish dining then. Our tours in Scagway and Ketchican didn't get back until after our early dining. We only got to eat in the dining room on our last night.
