but having never set foot on a HAL ship, we have booked this cruise!! We snagged a stern VA on deck 7 this time! We're really looking forward to this itinerary, especially Dominica (where we haven't been in YEARS) and Barbabos, which we love!
Anyone joining us???

Sounds like a great cruise and I would love to sail on HAL again. But, my mom and I are already booked on RCCL for Arpil 4, Panama Canal.

Where in MA are you from?
I think we got a good price -- less than $3,000 for a stern VA on deck 7!
We're from Townsend, which is on the NH border just south of Nashua. Do you live in MA??

We and lots of our frinds thinking as well of doing this cruise, the only drawback is Dominica...we have been there this March and it was the worst experience! We will not get off the ship this time!

| Really -- we went to Dominica several years ago and thought it was a beautiful island -- the most unique we'd been to in the Caribbean! We're looking forward to going back. We intend to book a private tour (which we did the first time, only that tour guide is no longer there).

| We also did a private Tour to the Emarald Pool and around the island. It was maybe too many ships in port (4)! I was there as well a couple of years ago and liked it, but the tour guide just wanted to sell more and more of a Island Tour and after we said we would like to go back to the ship...he throw us out of the bus and we had to walk 30 mins. back to the ship! He was more then unpleasant!

We've got close to 70 on our roll call on the dark side... was hoping there'd be some people here.
Yep, back on the Snoredam -- looking foward to 12 days of total relaxation! Heck, there's nothing else to do anyway... We'll make our own fun!

Wow, Rich, what a small world! Where did you work in Groton? I work at the Town Hall in Pepperell!!! DH was building and grounds supervisor for the North Middlesex Regional School district; he retired last year (LUCKY HIM!!!).

I worked at NEBS doing software development. We've got a couple other members here from Nashua (debinnh & The Wog). The guy that sits behind me at my current day job lives in Pepperell. Yes, lucky DH is right!

| Wow, what a coincidence! I worked at NEBS in Groton for a short time in 1982! In-bound phone sales -- suckiest job I've EVER had! No computers back then, we had to hand write the orders, all the while looking at the CUE (number of callers waiting to talk to one of the phone reps) AND trying to sell the caller other products by thumbing through the catalog -- very high pressure. And if production couldn't read your writing and the order got screwed up, I HAD TO PAY FOR IT!! Ugh, I was never so happy to leave that job!
