The next victim of the cost of jet fuel. Less seats, same demand, the real victims are the passengers with higher prices. I am booked to London end of the month. I just hope my plane is not one of them and I end up in a middle seat on the later flight. I will have to visit the F-you thread.

No details on what planes and flights will be effected for another week.

And it's not just Continental - this article was flying around our office yesterday since we are all FF'ers. Not sure if I will be able to get to some of my clients offices without flying to a major and then driving for hours.....:shoot me:

BTW - I got stuck in a middle seat all the way to MSP last week. So much for being a Medallion... what a crock. It was not fun I'll tell ya.....:flamin:

We're booked on Continental on the domestic portion of our QE 2 crossing air plans.  I just had to deal with SilverJet going out of business 3 days ago and scrambling trying to get a trans-atlantic flight back from London. Now that I have a flight back on British Airline, I hope Continental doesn't bugger things up wiht my domestic flight.       :flamin:

I'll have to remember to check next week & see what changes have been made.

And keep checking every week. My Delta schedules change every week now. It hasn't caused too much of a problem yet - but I get time and equipment change notices all the time now.....:(

Sounds a bit like "the good old days" when there just weren't airports everywhere that flew anywhere you wanted to go. It puts the travel industry back by decades.

Tell me about it.........:shoot me::flamin: Perhaps this will bring more people to the doors of travel agents, experienced travel agents;) I see more people getting screwed by on-line order takers with everything that is going on in the entire industry.

I saw on another thread where someone posted on how to do "creative" routing and ticketing........it cracked me up.....it was from 2005:shock: Rules and regs change hourly in this business.

I agree.  I remember when I was young, flying was not for the general population like it is now.  There were flew airlines, and fewer flights.  And they were expensive.
I think I was in my 20's before I started flying with any regularity.
