Now that the holidays are (almost) over, I can devote some time to trying to decide on an airline and hotel for our QE 2 cruise. Sorry it's taking me so long, Rich.
What are your thoughts on that other Business Class airline? We are very interested in that.

No problem Denise. I know things are hectic for everybody at this time of year.
Silverjet looks pretty decent, and from what I'm hearing, they're doing pretty well financially. I've heard they're having a fare sale starting Friday for $1759 pp round trip, including taxes, for travel through October. I'm hoping the one-ways will be on sale as well for you. It's $1153 right now for one-way...maybe we'll luck out and be able to get it for around $900.
ATTN - UK MEMBERS: Have any of you heard anything about Silverjet??

Silverjet is doing quite well - I have only heard good things. Everyone that I know that have used them have been impressed. Their dedicated check-in at Luton is impressive and their lounge is of very high quality.
Then there's EOS - They have also been getting good reviews. EOS are attracting a lot of the corporate market where Silverjet is more leisure focused (as was Maxjet).
I should point out that I am in the Corporate Travel industry - we have seen a lot of corporate business go with EOS.
Financially Silverjet seems to be a lot stronger than Maxjet was. However with the US economy suffering and rumours of a downturn in the UK this year I think it will be make or break year for these airlines. There's a lot of capacity over the N.Atlantic at the moment which could prove to be an overcapacity.

| Thanks Cassie. Nice thing (at least for Denise) about Silverjet vs. EOS is that they go into Newark instead of JFK.

Yes, I would much rather fly in/out of Newark instead of JFK.
Does EOS operate out of JFK? To which London airport?

Eos flies to JFK from Stansted.
Stansted has the Stansted Express rail link to central London and is a much nicer and easier airport to get through than Luton.
