Yesterday was 32 deg. Celcius (89.6 fahrenheit) with humidex of 41 celcius (105 f.) Spent the whole day at a funeral.... It was torturous
Today, more of the same but hoping for some thundershowers...

It's 94 here and supposed to be 103 by late afternoon. So very unusual for us. We normally don't even hit the 90's until July.....and on most years, only a handful of those.
I agree....where is spring?

If it helps you cool off at all, we had 10 inches of snow at one of the local ski resorts on Wednesday....
Definitely a weird weather pattern.

32 degrees here, under a tornado warning right now. Dog is in basement and medicated.
Spent 4 hours standing in direct hot sun on official business. Soaked to the gills.

| The last several weeks we've had temps in the 80's and occasionally low 90's. Humidity is high because we seem to have rain several times a week. Severe thunderstorm passing overhead right now.

95 here today, and 98 tomorrow, back to the high 70's by Thursday.
It was 100+ in NC on Saturday & Sunday, with more expected today. Sure am glad they don't get that too often (at least this early).

| Hot as Hades here in N. Jersey today, too. I don't have a problem with getting the furry youngster to come inside anymore... I think he's grown a great appreciation of A/C.

Yes, Bama, we know you are "hot", but I thinking they are talking about the temperature....

| Not in the Pacific NW. Snow on Mt Hood and Mt Rainier. One hiker dead after 10 inches fall on Rainier. All while we're hitting nearly 100 degrees up and down the East Coast.

The reason we don't have a pool is because in my neck of the woods the temp never gets above 85 for a week in July or August. It just isn't worth the work and the money.
Today it was 101 in June . It's like that Twilight Zone.
Oh, I live in NE PA. Surrounded by mountains.

That must be a beautiful area. Only in the low 80s here today so maybe those of you in the east will get some relief soon.

| The heat is here and has been for a couple of weeks. Tomorrow should be the hottest day yet. Heat indices are predicted to be in the 105 - 108 range with a high of 98. Thankfully, we're supposed to get some rain on Tuesday, leftovers from Hurricane Dolly, but the temps will still reach into the 90s.

This week is of the climatological maximum temperature-wise. Typically the week of the last few days of July into August. Just as the last week of January is the coldest. Days have been getting shorter since 21 June. Cooler weather is on the way but sometimes there's a lot of bumps in the road.

| Well, at least that gives us some hope. We have dangerous heat warnings through 8 p.m. on Monday with a high in the low 100's on Tuesday. Down to the 80s on Wednesday.
