Tropical Depression Arthur, moving west-southwestward at 6 mph, is weakening over southeastern Mexico near the northwest border of Guatemala.

Continued weakening is forecast, but the remnant low pressure center will persist in dumping heavy rain on parts of southeastern Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Flash flooding and mudslides, particularly in mountainous regions, are likely.
