Sunny and 76 here today. We just got done raking the front lawn. Too tired to mow it too. Next weekend, the backyard and mowing, weather permitting.

| We're still in a tornado watch until 1 a.m. The worst weather went around our part of the city, but the sirens still went off as storms never really travel in a perfectly straight line. They had baseball sized hail just a few minutes northwest of us. We got heavy downpours and lots of lightning.

It's been snowing here today, too. Nothing sticking on the roads, but enough snow up the canyon that they had to do avalanche control .
Another message board that I read was reminding us that we've had snow in 9 of the last 12 months. It snowed in September at one of my Utah football games, and every month up to and including May since it snowed today. Global warming, anyone?
However, I'll definitely take our wacky weather over tornados. Hope it "blows over" without causing any problems.

| Real high winds last night caused a tornado siren to malfunction and it kept going off. No bad weather here, but south around jc and RnE's areas they had tornados that did quite a bit of damage. One of our local stations has been reporting live from Neosho, Mo. all morning.

I heard about that. How frightening-I am SO scared of tornados. Hope the check in soon so we know they're ok. . .

Below is the track of three tornadoes from Saturday. The middle one is the big one that stayed on the ground for 72 miles. To show how powerful these can be even away from the main track, two photos from a home in Picher, OK were found in Springfield, MO yesterday.
BTW, conditions are the same today as Saturday, so there is a chance we could have a repeat of the type of storms. Those in the midwest, keep an eye on it.

no kidding. Mid 60s here right now. I drove through a snowstorm in Vermont on April 30. Go figure.

Thanks. I finally get a break after working non stop for 87 days to all this shitty weather. Saw some of the damage coming in from CO. What a freaking freakshow!

| Big thunderboomers with heavy rain blew through about 5:15 this morning. Sun is shining now and temp is 71. We have a small chance of rain for the rest of the holiday weekend with temps in the 80s.

I am totally freaking out right now. There's a tornado going right over Milwaukee, and my daughter is at the fair park with a friend. There is really no decent cover there- Please say some prayers. . .

| Severe thunderstorms in the area now. The rain is coming down hard and we're watching to see how those nice holes the construction company made in our street are filling up.

| Tonight looks to be a repeat of my previous post. Tornado watch, heavy rain and thunderstorms expected. My best friend's town was nearly wiped out by a 1/2 mile wide tornado last night. I've had no word nor can I contact her. At least the news is reporting that no one is unaccounted for. I just wish I knew if they were uninjured and what happened to their home.

Looks like most of the country will be in the 80s and 90s today with heat indices into the 100s in many areas. We're due to get some rain starting around noon so DD got the lawn mowed before that and the higher temps get here. 80 now.
Has ANYONE heard from RnE? It's been a long time since his last post.
