Wait until the next peak solar cycle!  That's what really affects our weather more than anything else AND right now the sun is at its minimum.

And we've had a pretty mild year so far! I saw an article where some scientists are predicting a rapid increase in global temps. They say by 2020 that we'll see more water shortages and the extinction of certain animal species.

I'm speaking of trends of course.  There's already positive feedback loops initiated (water does not reflect insolation like ice) and these will be augmented with increase of insolation due to solar activity increase which should peak by 2011.  That does not even take into consideration of potential X50 class CME's which (unlike the freak 2003 event) may not sideswipe the planet instead hit head on.  That just wreaks havoc with COMSAT's and the power grid.

I wish it would get colder!  Ran the chillers today!  I might as well have stayed in Aruba. ;)
