I'm too embarrassed to put what I got -- but I now know I've been living under a rock!

I did not even try. I scanned down the list and saw nothing I knew. Who listens to the works of theme songs anyway. The least they could do was make it an audio test.  :flamin:

I agree!  I might know the tunes better than I did the words -- but even that's doubtful!

Good Job! You definitely know your TV theme songs. It might be possible that you are watching too much television.

The ones I missed were a bit before my time (Welcome Back Kotter, Gidget, Small Wonder, etc...)

I'm not sure anyone would want to.   Scoring above 80 on this one could take the loser's thread to a whole new level.

Reminds me when Trivial Pursuit came out.  I've always loved trivia games, and I don't think I've ever missed an episode of Jeopardy since it was relaunched in the mid eighties.

It was hard to get a bunch of people together after playing once as it would intimidate some by others thinking they were stupid.  Before message boards, it was one of the only ways, though.

When the TV version came out, no one was embarrassed if they didn't know the answers to some of those questions.

I should have you play my BIL.  He qualified for the Jeopardy pool, but never appeared on the show itself and is an absolute genius at trivia games.  We frequently play everyone else in the family against him -- and he usually wins.

I think their VCR is set to tape Jeopardy every night in case he's not home to watch.  Sounds like the two of you would get along fine!

Catagory - Technology from the 80s for $1000  - VCR

Answer - What is a machine used to record analog TV on video tape.

Yeah, I know.  Not only don't they have a DVR, which I don't think I could live without, they don't even have cable or satellite!  Definitely living in the 80s :big grin:.

Hey now, we just got a DVR last month. :P Now that I have it though, I wonder how I lived without it. I'm actually able to watch some TV shows again!

They're wonderful, aren't they?  Between being able to automatically record programs to watch at your convenience and the ability to skip through commercials, I'm totally hooked.  Funny thing is, I still don't watch much TV -- but almost never anything "live".

All I'm saying is that my score is lower than anything I've seen posted yet.  I'd never watched at least half of those shows -- maybe 75% of them -- and I sure had no clue what the lyrics were .
