If anyone goes to Dominica I high suggest reyno he was awesome 40 bucks for 5 hours with water,beer, and a rum drink.

Thanks for the tip! We are on a cruise next spring, which I think stops in Dominica. We've been there twice before, many years ago, so I'm sure it's changed a bit! The last times we were there, we just wandered around the little town area and looked at the local vendor's wares.
I would like to do a tour to see more of the island, but I generally shy away from bus tours any longer than 2 hours. Anything longer than that, and I am climbing the walls!  I wonder if he would do a shorter tour?

| He told me he's willing to do a private tour it would just cost more he responds to his e-mails within 24 hours I'd ask him I'm sure he could accommodate you.

I'd say the waterfalls there were great I wish I would have swam at emerald falls though there's a pool at the bottom they claim is very therapeutic. There a few ather falls but it's a pretty good hike to get to them I love rain forest it reminded me a little of costa rica and kauai . And of cousre all the fresh fruit you can sample at Mr.Nices fruit stand

The falls and the pool sound great! Were there a lot of folks swimming? Wonder if the water was warm?

They said the water was chilly at first but you got used to it fast.
I have the carnival valor booked for feb 09 bringing 4 new cruisers from minneapolis here on board. Get to baptise virgin cruisers .
I know I met Dana on my cruise is she from like the frisco area??

Yep! I met her and Mike Dawson there when my DH and I were out there last June. We met for dinner at Fisherman's Wharf and had a great time! AFter that, we decided we wanted to cruise together and booked the Solstice!
If you change your mind, we'd love to have you cruise with us!!!

| ok it is her that beth and I met we actually ran in to them several times on the ship and did the reyno tour together. On cc I think she goes by 4cats4me unless I got her confused with another cc member you meet so many people I get mixed up at times

You are exaclty right! On CC, she is "4cats4me" and here she is "elizabethtaylor". Mike is "mrdawson" here and who knows what over on CC!!!!!!

I am a member at CLF, but don't post there much. Had a bit of a run-in with SueMiller when I joined and was asking some questions on the rules & regulations of the board. She was quite rude to me, so I tend not to go there very much.
I still post on CC once in awhile, but I don't really care for the "Big Brother" feel over there. There are so many things you can't do.....like talk about travel agents (that is alllowed here) and the fact that you really cannot post a review with anything negative in it, or the cheerleaders over there will come out in full force to argue with you!
Much more laid back over here!!!!! And I am sure glad you found us!!!

| we have a group cruise booked there jsme started it for her and her husbands birthdays they made a list of cruises they wanted to do and he picked first so thats the mexican riveria cruise the guy organizing it is a guy named reggie

the one and only he goes a cruise about every 4 weeks it seems he's on the mercury right now.
It's Nov 2nd out of long beach on the carnival pride we have 15 cabins right now one more will give us a second berth to split among the group.
Were going in two days early and using our disney time share at disney land then staying on the queen mary the night before the cruise. He has some pretty good amenities for the cruise
