Although best known for taking tourists to Stingray City with other snorkeling stops, Captain Marvin's also does island tours to the Turtle Farm/Hell and fishing charters.

Same here! The biggest obstacle for me was getting into the water and making my way to the sandbar with the stingrays swimming and bumping into me. Once I got used to it, I held and kissed one. Made for some great memories.

Had a wonderful time!  Was a little worried at the over-full bus, and what appeared to be a very full boat.  Was a lot less concerned when I saw the cruise ship tour boat packed like sardines!

Our captain and guides were wonderful, if a little disorganized at the beginning.

I was so glad we weren't packed in like sardines! I think there were less than 20 of us on that boat. One thing the guide told us that I found interesting is that even though Capt. Marvin was quite elderly, he occasionally went out with one of the boats.

Do they still leave from that inlet where his house is?

They didn't tell us if the Capt. lived around the inlet, but yes, that's where we caught the boat.
