We were on the Voyager last November to Bermuda for 5 days. This was my sis and BIL's first cruise. She is on oxygen 24-7. I wanted her to see so much of the island so I found a taxi tour on line before going. I took such a chance and worried about how good he would be. I found him from the Bermuda yellow pages on line at
He was great...We origanally took him for 6 hours but were having such a great time, we ended up staying 8 hours. He charged us at that time...$35.50 an hour for the four of us. He showed us every inch of Bermuda. We ate at the Swizzle Inn. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and we laughed all day long. His van was clean, and large enough for all of us. I am sure the price has gone up since then as the price of gas is more now. You can reach him at lsmart@northrock.bm and his cell number is 441-534-8688 and his home number is 441-236-2957. He does not have a web site and he runs the business himself. If you are lucky enough to get him, you will have the best time ever. He is a gentlemen and he is first class all the way.
Your taxi tour can be exactly what you want to see, or he will take you around to places if you dont have any ideas. We have kept in contact with him by mail and call him when we get to Bermuda to see how he is doing. It sure was scary not knowing what to expect, but it sure did work out great and was the highlight of her cruise.
Thanks for the recommendation Sally! Bermuda is on my "to do" list. :D
