Have you ever run into "ellbon" over there? She reminds me a lot of MACOP, in that either English is not her first language, or she and MACOP went to the same school..because sometimes she is VERY hard to understand the point she is trying to make.

i have never seen a roll call thread locked!
if someone was nasty enough to cause the thing to be locked, you'll prolly want to stay far, far away from them on the ship. sheesh.

I just took a look too. Hmmmm. Although many rollcalls allow people not on their sailing to post, I do believe they put in place some time ago that this was not to be done. It was even a sticky, might still be, I didn't look.
So is this the Mike guy or ellbon or both that caused it to be closed? I have to say, right or wrong in the mod's eyes, I agree with Mike whoever he is. ellbon has been posting with great regularity on a Voyager sailing. Does she even have a cruise booked? I didn't see one in her signature on either line.

When we were booked on this same sailing [cancelled a couple months ago ]
she infiltrated our roll call after having changed her date to the EARLIER sailing,
but here she comes again, hanging around our roll call, so I told her to
buzz off. I am in total agreement with this Mike guy, whoever he is, because
she is now monopolizing that roll call. What's unfair is for Host Walt to put
the whole thread in a time out. Hopefully he'll do the right thing and ban
Elbon for violating the rules. She's a proverbial pain in the ass, and I must
say, does evoke rancor with me

Although I have to admit that when I saw it was locked, that I assumed it was ellbon that triangled it whining to the Mods that she has been "dissed"........
And, as per the "rules" at CC, I nicely sent an e-mail to Host Walt asking basically WTF is going on & that I had never seen a roll-call locked before. And, as par for the course over there, he has not responded to my e-mail.

Okay, there are still some duplicates and I can't exactly figure out why some of the smileys disappeared, but it could be a space issue. So far the only one I was able to retrieve was the  and the  but I'm going to continue working on it. I've also attempted to redo the descriptions, I'm still not sure what happened there.
