| I've been looking at a few online cruise agencies. Has anyone had problems with any of them? They seem to be quite a bit less than booking direct with the cruise lines.

I use either a local TA, or one that has been recommended to me. But, I did use an on-liine agency, "The Cruise Brothers", about 8 years ago and was satisfied.

I use Best Price Cruises online almost exclusively and always get great service and no matter how much I check I have never found anyone less expensive, on or offline.....the only thing that is different is if your cruise gets a price drop, usually a TA will handle this for you and get the cruiseline to drop your price but an online agency usually doesnt...if you check prices from time to time yourself as I do then all it takes is a call to the online agency to get your price reduction... Damn Best Price Cruises should send me a commision for that endorsement! LOL

That's good to know -- I went through cruise compete for prices on a March Noordam cruise, and there's was the lowest. However, I did e-mail the on line agency I have been dealing with and been happy with (Cruise Value Center) to see if they'd match the price -- if they will, we're booking!!

We found a TA through Cruisecompete.com that has saved us about $2,800 over our last five cruises (over booking direct through NCL) so we deem our sixth cruise "free".  More money for   :drunkfriends:
