I booked both of my cruises through this company, and both times, I had such great experiences.
For my upcoming cruise, they made a mistake and wrote that the final payment was due on May 12th, and I'm sailing on May 26th. I called over there for something else, and the girl said that the date didn't look right and she fixed everything up for me. They give you 1,000 ways to get in touch with your agent, and everything is done so fast and efficient.
Has anyone booked through them, and what were your experiences?

| I haven't used them, but a friend has when their prices were the best to be found. She gave them top ratings.

I find this to be always an interesting topic. I have yet to have anyone beat the price I get from my TA ( except for once ... the free one  ), not to mention the personal service that she provides.

I have booked all of the below cruises with Cia Gore at Vacations To Go, extention 516. She is the greatest - best prices, best service and wonderful goodies always waiting in our cabin. No local TA is the Washington, D.C. area has ever come close.

we were checking prices last summer, DH ended up talking to Marcus. liked him to much that, no matter what the price, he booked. every time we changed anything or even just called to ask a questions...the next morning we had a email for all confirmations. we had family thinking of this cruise, but were hmmm and hawing around (as usually), but when they (finally) talked to marcus..the niece commented on how much she liked talking to him (must say...he has a great voice) ended up booking 4 rooms through him....but they sent him over to group sales...dang!!!

Made bookings with VTG once but after that they never wanted to come down on their advertised prices so never booked through them again.
Their site is a great starting point though.

I have found no "one best place" for the lowest prices everytime I cruise. Everytime it has been a different agency. I have also booked for other people. I am careful to find the very best price and now I use cruisecompete too. This is who I have booked through:
Vacationstogo.com (twice- they were great)
KimsKruises.com (she was a sweetie. Sadly she passed away but her sis is still running the agency)
Cruisesnmore.com (so-so service but GREAT price)
SmartCruiser.com (best price ever)
I can't remember the first cruise TA. I am certain I get better deals now.

I too used to use Kim. Her sister is a member here as are several other TAs.
Personally, I like a travel agent that I can talk to by e-mail or phone one-on-one. Since Kim passed on I've been looking for a new one and I think I found just the right ones!
