What is the general commission most TA's get per cabin
Say JS, inside, ouside?
My TA is mad because I went through rccl directly

It's a set percentage, based on their volume. Port charges & taxes are not commissionable.
Out of curiosity, was there a particular reason that you booked directly? Are you letting RCCL keep the booking or turning it over to the TA?

It is a bit tricky but the main part is...
The TA is my cousin. We always book a group cruise them but there was only 3 cabins this time.
We had the coupons for RCCL that expire today.
The TA was out of town until today so we called RCCL directly last night.
I was planning on switching to her but at this point, I dont think so.
say a JS is $3350 what might be the breakdown?
She said something about credits she gets?
Is that the same as commission?

Without knowing what kind of volume she does with RCCL, and whether she has a "host agency" where she's splitting the commission with someone, it's hard to guess, but it should be at least $250.
I'm not sure what she's talking about with "credits". Maybe she's talking about her sales volume.
If she was out of town, I can see why you'd book directly to use the coupons. There's no excuse for her to be mad about it.

Total commission paid on a cruise booking can run from 10% to 16%.
The commission is paid, as was said before, on the base cruise fare,
not on port charges and taxes.
An individual agent could be on a set salary or get a percentage of the commission
paid to the agency. That percentage can vary from 50% to as high as 80%.

| maybe she means credits towards her iatan card, you need 5K in commission to qualify for it. Anyhow if you booked direct you could still be nice and tranfer it to her so she can get the comission, and if she was nice since you did all the work she could buy you a nice big on board credit with some of the $$$
