Well, aside from YESTERDAY's game, very well. At least we're 19 games above .500 and in first place at the All-Star break. AND, we're sending 8 guys to the All-Star game, though maybe only four will actually play. I'm pretty happy about that

You mean the style, background, color thing? It happens from time to time. Nothing you did.
Shoreguy is one you'd know from the NCL board and maybe goodml from RCCL. Others I think you might know, but some aren't using the same screen names. Take scrappy for instance. She's hiding out from the crazy lady at CC. Says so right in her signature. I don't have a CLUE who she is on CC.

Oh no, you were thinking about me? Should I be afraid? I'm doing great. Keeping busy and trying to stay out of trouble. Not an easy job for me! I'm trying to get the funds together to take my b/f on a cruise in Nov. Can you believe he has never cruised before? I traded huge Cubs fan for huge cruiser. Our trips consist of two weeks in Arizona in March for Cubs Spring Training and then various road trips throughout the summer. Last year we went to Atlanta for that series and I got to see some old friends. We also went to Milwaukee a couple of times. This year we've already been to Toronto and we're going to Milwaukee the end of the month.
I had a funny thing happen at Wrigley on Friday. You have to understand that I go to every game, mostly sitting in the bleachers with my b/f and a group of other friends. I also go every so often with my dad, he also has season tickets. Last Friday I was at the game with my dad. We had to go in a different entrance from my usual one for bleacher season ticket holders. I opened my backpack to have it inspected and I hear this "You're not sitting in the bleachers today?" I looked up and it was one of the security people I've seen around. He just let me in. Then I saw some other security people who asked why I wasn't in the bleachers. Then I was waiting for the elevator because the ramps are kind of difficult for me right now and I hear "Miriam, is that you?" It was one of the Cubs PA announcers I know. It went from there. Some other people I know who work there came up to the seats to say hi. It was great. And a few nights before that I met one of the security people who told me he recognized me from the upper deck from before this year -- I was in the bleachers that night. I think my dad's in for a real shock when he joins us in the bleachers on the 25th.
I'm also using Wrigley as my "golf course." I'm getting a lot of business conducted while I'm out there for two or three different projects!
Anyway, that's my story, or most of it. What are you up to this summer?

We just started our move from NC to Fla. Got the first load down and will be packing up our house and moving the rest of the stuff down over the next 6 months, or so. Too much to do in one big move, so we're doing several smaller moves. Still a nightmare!

LOL. I usually don't drink during the game. I'm too busy watching it and the beer vendors cannot walk around selling beer in the bleachers. Every so often one of the guys goes for a beer and brings one back for me.
jc - what I'm doing this summer is a dream for me! The fact that I can combine it with work makes it that much better.
Catnip -- I guess you'll be putting a lot of miles on your car with the mini moves, but it sounds a whole lot better than one gigantic move. Will you miss North Carolina?

I will miss my friends there, but not really the town that I lived in. It was very rural and sometimes relly drove me crazy.
