Beth, I don't know about this being a momentous occasion, but I'm glad you "heard" I was here. How's it going?
Catnip, those were some interesting comments about your move. When I left Atlanta I told my mom the only things I would miss were my pool and my best friend, probably in that order!
I must tell you, you've all made me feel very welcome. I really wasn't sure what kind of reception I'd get here, though I was leaning toward favorable with a touch of apprehension. So I thank all of you for putting any fears I had aside!

Girl, I've known you for years, longer than I've known jc. Even if someone had given you a hard time, I know you'd have the guts to stand up for yourself. You were one of the few who was always fair in your dealings on the darkside. Welcome to the LIGHT side, Cruise Sister!

Other than an inordinate amount of high school type humor you will find that we have a pretty good group of folks, and it is a fun place to hang out at between vacations. It is an attempt to make an adult cruise forum and since it is not a business and all of the mods aren't cruising for free hawking group cruises that it can remain unique and fun.
We even let you help and direct people to your agency.

I was overworked but being the efficient worker that I am, I can always find some time for play. 
Yes Mir has a long history with more than a few of us. I'm trying to remember our first encounter and I think it goes way back to the days of The Eagle Has Landed thread. Now that was a classic!
Compared to Mir, jc is a newbie.

Hey I was a member back in 2000 (I think) and definitely in 2001 (that is when I met Tracey from a Roll Call). I only show 2003 because of the wierd things that happen on the internet... or LS.

You had to be hanging on the Fashion board back then. It was THE place to be for raunchy fun. Ahhh for the good old days. Mir gave us a lot of slack. Once in a while she had to slap our fingers, but not often.

OMG, that Eagle Has Landed Thread WAS a classic! And yes, Beth, that's where we first met. Yes, I gave people more slack there because it was a forum I started and I wanted it to be fun. When I was told to tighten the reigns, I did. That's what led to the Floataway Lounge. I started that, also! I was a mod over there for 11 years -- well, I also did other things for the company. But as someone pointed out, it was, and is, a business.
I'm trying to co-exist on both boards. I do have to be careful over there now that I'm a TA. I never talk about that on the other board, only about my writing.
And ANOTHER OMG -- Hucc's polls! The memories!!!!
I'm looking forward to relaxing and having a little fun here!
