The college basketball tournament for the conference our team plays in was scheduled at least once for that weekend. All the guys who post on our Utefans message board were complaining loudly about availability and costs -- even a couple of months before that weekend.
Thanks for the heads up Ute Fan. It looks like the unofficial Nascar dates are Feb 27-Mar 1 although these dates are still pending. We are going from the 21st -24th so we should be safe.
Is Vegas a popular Spring Break destination? Hoping it's not but we can't change the dates so we'll live with it, although they've never ruined our trips before...
When we were there at the end of February, unbeknownst to us at time of booking, it was Nascar week! Friday came, and it was a sea of people on Fremont street- Not bad during the day, when they were all at the race, but then at night-eek!
