It is a 4 year or 5 year old Canon Powershot S2IS. I think the current model is an S5IS or maybe an S6IS. It is not perfect, but it is about as good as it gets for a point and shoot. It has a 10X optical zoom, and it can do very acceptable video. It is not tiny, but it is not huge. So, it doubles as camera and camcorder.
