We did the same thing with 7 people. Our driver was great. I think we ended up tipping €10 - €15 per person

8 person minibus - €600

Our Med cruise is in Oct. I was wondering the same thing. Two of the private guides are their own bosses, they own the car and will be taking us around. I figure they "built in" most of their tip, but we won't leave thier hands empty at the end. One is George the famous taxi driver in Athens and the other Mariano Fiorintino in Naples. Maybe 10eu each from each of us (there are 3 of us, possibly 4)? For the other two, in Rome, through Angel Tours we have a tour guide for the vatican then a driver to the port. Each will get at least 10% of the cost. In Kusadasai we are using EKOL tours, again they will get at least 10%. Do you think this is reasonable?

Of course, this assumes we are in agreement with what everyone else has said about them being wonderful!
