We have been to Florence before so we wanted something different. When I saw this excursion it sounded really nice. My husband has CHF and I was wondering if this would be too much for him. NCL is doing the excursion and has rated it a number 2 differculty. One is the least and three is the most. What do you think? If it too much at some point can I leave him at a cafe and come back for him or must he keep up. Thanks for all your help.
It wouldn't be fair for me to answer that with personal experiance, I haven't been...... although I did research it, I would love to do this.
But I watched a very long tv program on the area and the hike between all the towns. If his CHF is mod-severe I would say yes too much for him.
Is he on diuretics and puffers? then yes.
I would also think he would be delighted that you did it, while he spent the day having a drink, people watching and snacking.
I think there is a mini route you can do, and I don't think you necessarily need the tour
I am alway afraid if I don't do the ships tours that I will miss the boat. If it was Rome stop I would chance it as I could always catch up in Florence but the next stop is Barcelona, too far.
Thanks for your thoughts on this. I appreciate it.
