DH called Carnival yesterday morning and booked us on a three day cruise on the Sensation. We added our DD (15 year old) last night. DS did not want to go with us. He wants to stay and play baseball. He is 13.
I printed out Fun Pass and Docs but then we added Mac and now I need to reprint.

| I wanna go!! I was looking at that cruise myself. I did the three day last year over Memorial weekend. It was a quick - and I mean quick - getaway! But it was so worth it! Held me over......

3 days are always way too quick but it is about all I can doing from end of August until June and I am not too thrilled about summer cruises. I think they are just too hot.
I am so ready to go though.
We just have started cruising on Carnival a few years back. Only have done 4 and 5 day cruises on them. We have the 3 day Sensation and then the Pride in November.
I like Carnival and our first ship was the Celebration and we loved it. Which is surprising to some people since our prior cruise was on Freedom of the Seas. I believe it is up to the person to make their vacation fun, not the other way around.
8 more days!!
Kathy, the price was good. Maybe you need to book and go with us.

LOL - I was actually looking. Not sure the 15th is doable for me - the 29th might be better. I've been nosing around all week. I'll let you know if I decide on the 15th -
You must live close to the ports, as do I. I too loved, loved the Celebration and I am missing her alot right now. I wish they would not have left us with NO ship at all. It just stinks.
I have such a short window of opportunity - or I wait until next March. The prices during the summer are YIKES. Decisions, decisions.

We live in NC and it is a long drive but doable. We learned a few years ago if your plane has issues you can drive and get there about the same time as you can fly.
Please let me know if you decide to go on the 15th. I would love to meet you. We do not know anyone going besides each other and our DD. She is looking forward to cruising without her brother and being able to meet some new friends.

In this day and age that is absolutely correct - sometimes you can drive faster than you can fly and the cost is getting to be about equal......

Especially if your flight is the first one of the day. We do not live far from Greensboro or Charlottle airports but if they have any flight or plane issues you are removed from the plane and they sometimes have to wait on another plane to arrive. We have left our home at 3:15 am (flying) and not arrived until after 11 am. Then you have to factor in the shuttle time to PC from MCO that is another 45 minutes. Flying should be stress free. I know the times we have flown it was not stress free. Thus the reason we have decided to drive to PC and not fly. Last edited on Wed May 7th, 2008 01:29 pm by JSME

Yes it would. Plus we can go to all the vineyards on weekends and have parties on race day.
