We are all packed, house is clean and we are taking the dog over to her babysitters in a few minutes.  We leave tomorrow morning on the Explorer out of Bayonne to Bermuda.

We purchased a car cover in the wake of recent paint spraying.  We left out of there twice before and never had a problem, but with as windy as it has been this weekend, not worth taking the chance.  So if the car cover does not get stolen, or blows off, we will be in good shape.

Will let you know how it went when we return on November 3rd.

I'm working on it....Looking at the Noordam 10 day caribbean in April (out of NY) or a Bermuda (also out of NY) in July.

Flying is really the pits...I'm hoping to avoid it at all costs.

:agree:     It has gotten to be such an enormous hassle, I truly dread each time we fly somewhere.....

I never thought I'd hear you say that! Oh well, I know what you mean. Sometimes you need a break from the usual routine to shake out the cobwebs and maybe discover something new. ;)

I hope I never get to that point, LOL!  Then again, that would mean that I have cruised so many times that I need a break... I think I have a long way to go, but it'll be fun trying!! LOL!

I think that I am tired of the Caribbean and not cruising. I love being on a ship but I do want to take a break and get ready for my trip in September. Planning that will be have the fun and doing research.

Hey Gordon, come visit Peggy, Mike, and me in California and then sail the Vision to the Mexican Riviera. The weather down there is awesome this time of year!!! :tropics:

I'm going to have to do a left coast cruise one year. Also have Alaska on my short list too.

Well, Saints and Sinners are doing Hawaii in 2009 :D  You should come with us... plenty of time to plan it! LOL!

I am itching to do a Med cruise though... That one would be hard to do with a group... going to see how things go... I really really want to go!!!

From my understanding a Hawaii cruise can be just as expensive as Europe due to the airfare from the east coast. That is what is killing my on the Med cruise. The air is very expensive. I bet you could get a good size group together for a Med cruise if you planned it early enough to let everyone save up.

I'm depressed because I have no cruise planned this year. The DH doesn't want to go on cruises anymore but would much rather fly to a port and stay a few days. And he also has plans for us to do the Clark Griswald thing...to DRIVE from OK to CA with TWO KIDS!:shoot me:
