Thanks, Gordon! I was trying to catch up with you!

Why don't you think about joining us for the Solstice cruise?

That's the only reason I posted it!  I got so tired of Pinky saying that we didn't have any cruises or vacations planned over here at CTT!   :loungingsun:
I have never listed my previous or upcoming cruises before. Not my style......But, I couldn't resist posting my future cruises, just so he'll know I'm not sitting here moping away with nothing to do!!

I am envious of the QEII sailing. Jim and celebrated out 10th anniversary with a week in London and the transatlantic trip back home, without kids. It was an amazing experience. She is old but stately and elegant. It certainly brings you back to a bygone era. I'm so glad she will be bid a fond farewell with friends.

We are SO looking forward to it! The sailing we're on will be her very last TransAtlantic crossing, before Cunard retires her. It will be a tandem crossing with the QM 2 alongside. I'm sure there will be festivities, and we were very lucky to get a cabin.
My DH and I have sailed on the QE 2 twice before, and it is so different from a "cruise".  You are right...it is an amazing experience.
