For just $1300 pp plus the price of the cruise you can enjoy a special dinner for a max of 14 with some great wines.

A $5,000 per bottle 1989 Pétrus and an increasingly rare 2000 Château Hosanna top the list of vintages procured for Crystal Cruises’ ‘ultimate wine experience’ on Crystal Serenity’s Aug. 24 Mediterranean cruise.

No advancec booking. I wonder if you have to get in line at 7 am to sign up for the dinner onboard.

Guess I'll stick to my two-buck Chuck wines.

I know some people that do things like this on a regular basis, so I think Crystal is brilliant giving those kinds of customers an even better way to be separated from their money.  On a company cruise in 06 with our group of about 800 people the owner of the company, would bring me a sampling of every expensive wine on the list.  Usually after he bought several bottles of it for the table he was at.  Of course, RCI is hardly Crystal, but had this option been available he would have done it every night!

I would think about doing it but first I need to scrape together enough cash to book a Cystal cruise in the first place. :roflmao:

I like an occasional glass of wine, but not at that price! $5,000???
