Pretty much how I roll. ;)

Same here. I don't go on a cruise to complain. I go to relax! Sweating the small stuff is not my style.

This is how I accidentally starting the whole "sunshine cruisers" club on the DS.  Our last cruise was on the NCL Sun and we got such a ridiculously low rate that NOTHING could spoil that cruise.  I felt like a stow away.  ($3500 for 7 people TOTAL for 7 days!!!)

Before we left I was all set that nothing would ruin our time.  I had low expectations and felt that as long as things were basically clean, the food was edible and I could get my hands on a clean towel here or there, it would be a great trip.  We had a FANTASTIC trip.  My kids (ages 9 to 24) also had a wonderful time.  We are all experienced cruisers and we all agree that the ocean, the beaches, the "free" food (rolling eyes) is enough to give us a good time.

Most of the DS whiners are people who want champagne on a beer budget.

Maybe we could all chip in to sponser a "Purser's Cam" on a ship with live streaming video.  Someone get the popcorn!

Me, too!  I could only take other people's crap for so long before I exploded!!!! :holymoly:

How can people like that act like that? How were they raised? To be liars and cheats? I don't understand it.

People feel it's OK to cheat big corporations because they must be bad since they're big, and hey, they can afford it.  I canot stand this greedy, self-centered mentality.

I can not understand this thought process.  It is unfair to cheat PERIOD.

I haven't, but I'm beginning to think it might be very entertaining to hear some of the moronic complaints and lies that supposedly sane adults can come up with in just a single cruise.

It is funny you said that.  I was sitting here thinking it would be hoot when you get bored to just go sit at the Purser's Desk with a bottle of wine.  lol

There used to be a program on A&E channel - very much the same idea but was centered around Airports and the difficulty they had with certain passengers.  That was very entertaining, as a show about the pursers desk on a cruise ship would be.

Maybe the cruise-lines should put a big camera behind the pursers desk and just tell passengers when they approach the line is tapping a new show for A&E of the idiots and lies that happen onboard. That would result in a dramatic reduction in the :poopyhorse: as passengers turn tail and run.

Wasn't that Airline? I remember watching a few episodes of that. I think it was Southwest that was the focus of the show. They really had some doozies!

Yup that was Airline - I liked the British version as well - pretty sure it was British Airways - wow some people just have no sense what so ever. But it was still entertaining. ;)
