Not yet! I'm finishing Book of the Dead now. It's good! Didn't realize it was more or less a continuation of Dance of Death. Not sure what I'll read next out of that list. Depends on if I'm in the mood for more action/adventure or perhaps a little steamy romance. ;)

Sounds like an interesting book! May have to put that on my list for the next run to the bookstore. I decided to read Reliquary from my last group of purchases. As expected, it grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go. Started one of my trashy romance novels, but wasn't in the mood just yet. ;)

BOOKS

What a wonderful topic.

I just recd a book on 6 CDs. The Bonesetter"s Daughter by Amy Tan.

Has anyone read it ? I was thinking of keeping it very preciously to listen to it while sitting by the pool on the cruise.

Opinions are VERY welcome

I'm sure someone here did or is reading it.. hystrybuf or catnip maybe.

I'd love to buy talking books, but am afraid that I'd end up falling asleep or maybe the opposite....Nothing worse than getting a really good book, and not wanting to put it down!!:big grin: when you have to be up early for work!

I've heard Amy Tan is good, but I don't think I've ever read any of her books.

I love my books. I get lost in them and time goes by so fast. I end up getting less sleep than I should if it's a really good book. I couldn't have an audio book in the car. I'd end up in the ditch! :big grin:

Actually when I do buy them (expensive), I listen to them on the way to work, 35 minutes, the tme just flies by. Then I get to a really good part and I don't want to get out of the car in the parking lot :D

Don't you just hate that! LOL That's why I have to force myself to find a good spot to stop or I'd fall asleep sitting up!

I have not read that book, but have heard that it's good.

 I absolutely LOVE audio books!
I never listen to the radio in my car....I always have an audio book in!
I have a lot of them on cassette tape..........and a few on CD.  Now, I have to find a way to convert all the ones on tapes to CD's. I must own 2 dozen books on tape!!

I am listening now to "Skinny Dip" by Carl Hiasson!

I just finished Skeleton Coast and Treasure of Khan both excellent.

If you are a Cussler fan try Riptide or Ice Limit by Douglas Preston both good reads.
