I want the perfect weighted piece of luggage.
I am sick of luggage tipping me over the scales.
I want near zero weight luggage.
Who has it?
Where can I find it?
How much does it cost?
and the proverbial question...... do they ship to Canada???

Anyone?????

I Googled lightweight luggage and a bunch of stuff came up! e-Bags is having a sale and they also have Canadian shipping rates.

I bought a set of Traveler's Choice luggage from eBags that I've been really happy with. It was cheap and I didn't expect it to last, but it's held up well through several major trips. And, it's relatively lightweight!

I'm going cross eyed here. The larger the case the heavier (duh, that makes sense), but there isn't much variation in the weights of cases which are the same size.
10 lbs = 4.5kg
14 lbs - 6.5 kg
When you are only alloted 20kg that's not fair!!!
Note to self.... throw out the clogs and mink wrap and my broomstick long skirt (no wait, I tossed that in 1968)

Was emailed this. http://www.magellans.com/store/Eagle_Creek___Wheeled_LuggageLC106?Args=
Does anyone else have this luggage in any size?
I was wondering if the carry on would fit the other posters thread too?
29 inches is only 10 pounds.

Saw an entire LAPC get its wheels in a bind and the ENTIRE thing went between ship and pier.  Probably 20 something bags.  The people were disembarking.

It's like seeing a person slipping on a sheet of ice or a parked car falling into a sinkhole.  You can't help but laugh a little thinking ohshit but then realize how it really sucks if it were yours!

Sizes and weights here:

I don't know what a macop is but if it's a person that can cruise surely he or she can read(!) and it's spelled right out in that piece of paper called a contract that everyone agrees with by paying full fare!

If I'm carrying a $160k lens that's insured you can bet the container is going to protect it well.  But in this biz they say ship happens and indeed it does!

she's a pax that posts on CC.... she's eeked / screwed/ nickel-dimed her way around the cruise lines. Her posts are more confusing than mine. She's been officially banned from? 2 lines?. Quite the poster.........
I think part of her is a cruiseline plant to generate web traffic.
That's a veeeeery expensive lens, so YOU must be the ship photographers that I'd like a word with.............................. :):) No more white screen on old ladies!

That face recognition SW for the shipboard surveillance system is not going to be implemented soon enough.  With a simple increase in the bad person list they don't sail.

That is similar to what we use for our dive computers.....I think ours is a Pelican case and it's blue.
But they are really good for fragile items...........

Yes Pelican also makes good cases.  I have a few of their intrinsically safe lighting products.
