Staying on Singer Island... where are the outlet malls?? How far, suggestions how we get there... what kind of outlets are they? We're looking for big name, large numbers of stores in one outlet.. and must include girls fashions, ladies fashions and purses!
While we're at it... how about good restaurants?

Step away from the mall and put down the credit cards, and nobody will get hurt.

I haven't gone shopping in West Palm Beach, but Sawgrass Mills in Fort Lauderdale is one of those huge outlet malls. It is a bit inland, but if you have a car.

Sawgrass Mills is the closest big outlet mall (west of Ft Lauderdale in Sunrise), about an hour from Singer Island

Is I95 the best way for two old girls, or should we map out an "old foggies" route?
We drive an hour to go shopping and it's no big deal up here, is I-95 all freeway that far south or... more like a freeway thru a downtown( am I explaining this right??) Any toll booths?

Sheila, I don't think I have been there in the last 8 or 9 years, but I don't remember any big deal about driving I-95.  I haven't tried at rush hour, but the rest of the time is no big deal.

So we can just get liquored up and hit the pavement???? It can't be any worse than Toronto at any given time. I think we can make the drive for the great buys.
