Okay, I can understand where this guy is coming from... Every time I go to a new nail salon for a pedicure and they whip out the razor, I quickly grab my foot back and say, "NO!" It's one of those disposable loofa scrub pads or nothing on my precious tootsies. But I'm not sure I could go for this???

I feel sorry for the fishies!!!!!!  How can they survive in the warm water? And what happens to them when they change the dirty water for the next client?  Kill the fish, or strain them and put them in a new bowl of warm water?

Sounds cruel to the fish.  Get a loofah instead!

Heyyyyy, I saw this on the evening news last night.  The spa is about 20 minutes from where I live.

I take very good care of my feet myself but I'd be willing to give this a try - just to see how it feels.

I suspected Rep would show up on this thread. ;) Check it out and give us a blow-by-blow (or, nip-by-nip, as the case may be) report! It probably won't be as good as the live MP party thread, but who knows? :lmao1:

Save the money. Just smear your feet with bait, head down to any pond, and let the catfish swarm do the work for free.

After all these years of wearing flip flops and sandals, my feet would need a Great White to trim off the calluses.:sharks:

Shucks, my feet are so dainty that I STILL haven't been able to get into sandals for any extended period of time this summer. They tear the skin right off my feet.

And you know how Asian guys are about feet? (they're foot fetishists -- they think dainty feet are a sign of beauty) There used to be one guy at my salon that really creeped me out. He LOVED my feet. Went so far as to run up to me -- while I was with my husband! -- in the parking lot and practically drag me inside for an unscheduled pedicure. Needless to say, I started scheduling my appointments after that rather than risk a walk-in and get stuck with that guy!

Go for it Rep! I'd really like to hear a first hand account of what this is like.

Piranha?! Yikes!!!

Hey all, just got back from my cruise last night.  So you missed me.  Ha!

Maybe I'll get over to the salon sooner or later.  Got some other things taking priority.  If I make the trek yoo all will be the first to know.:big grin:

Wonder when they will come up with using small fish to eat the hairs off your legs.  Better than waxing, huh?  lol  I think I would rather shave.
