Paul, please NEVER wear shoes & socks on the beach. It's just not done. Always go barefoot, or wear flip-flops! That is correct beach attire! (even on the nude beaches!!!)

But I must tell the truth, without the southern sun of late, and the chill of winter is approaching, I am in need of a tan. My lily white skin is definately lacking some colour, and I do look a bit pekid.
