I know they're ugly, but common...who is absolutely addicted to them anyway?

I know I am. They're definitely not the most attractive shoes, but they are the most comfortables ones for sure.

Where I used to work, the nurses all wore them since they were on their feet a lot during the day. Down on the Perfume thread, last page, there is some discussion on Crocs.

I wish I could wear them but my feet are narrow and they run too wide. I do like the tennis shoe mules.

Always thought they looked like Daisy Duck shoes and hated how they looked on the nurses but I keep hearing how great they are so I think I'll pick up a pair this week end, give them a whirl and I'll write a Croc Review!

You won't be disappointed if you pick them up. Since I made that original post, I purchased about 6 pairs of them in all different colors, and they're all coming on my cruise with me!

I have a wider foot, and have found them to be some of the most comfy shoes ever!!!  I wear orthotics, and when I put on other shoes, my feet tend to hurt... they don't in Crocs.  I used to think they were really ugly, but they've grown on me

I dont have any crocs..they were always ugly to me and I dont have a lot of chances to wear that type shoe...but...in the last two days,I had a lady and a little girl come into the store I work wearing the "new" crocs.I love the swirls of color..much nicer than the solid color,IMO. I was considering buying some to wear on my cruises. Will they stay on if you do cave tubing type of excursions? Dot

I haven't seen the new Crocs. Are they open in the back? If so, they probably wouldn't be ideal for cave tubing. Water shoes are good though. You can get them cheap and they'll not only give you traction but will stay on your feet. I wore them to climb Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica and they worked great.

We all have a pair. Although Brian is the only one who has a true pair. The rest of ours are knockoffs. DD also has a pair of Croc flip flops. True Crock flip flops are $30, but these were only $8 at Kmart and she loves them.

I love my Crocs!  I have two pairs -- the original ones with holes, and a black pair without the holes that I will confess to wearing to the dining room aboard NCL :nono:.  I have wide feet, and they are some of the few shoes that are actually comfortable.

For those of you with narrow feet, have you tried the Mary Jane style?  I think they're cute, but they're far too narrow to feet my weird shaped feet!

thank you, everyone. my dear hubby bought stock in crocs a couple of weeks ago and it's just climbing it's little heart out. today they reported record high earning, can't wait to see what the stocks to tomorrow. all thanks to those ugly little shoes that  everyone swears by. when he was in seattle, when his father died recently, for something fun for the family..he went out and bought crocs for his sister and her daughters. they liked them so much, they are buying them for other family members.

the grievances in hospitals will be starting............... our hospitals are going to ban them from uniform clauses.
Holes lead to poor infection control, and health and safety doesn't like the holes or back straps. Apparently someone also dropped something hot on them and melted the croc to the foot, (must have been pretty damn hot).
they are comfy:P

I love the crocs, and have tried numerous styles of the crocs, but they are just not comfortable on my foot.  I have tried all the knock-offs, but cannot find any that feel good.

Until I found the Easy Spirit ones!!!!!!!  I wear a lot of Easy Spirit sneakers, and found that  they make a croc-like shoe.  They feel heavenly on my foot!  When I bought a pair 2 monhts ago, they were a few dollars more expensive than the crocs. But now I see that they are on sale!!!!!
