I'm sorry but I have to bring this topic over because I know there are real women on this site . Women who hold down jobs,run their homes,raise their kids ,listen to their husbands,have a little fun once and a while and have great senses of humour that get them through the worst and the best.I know I will get real, raunchy and uncensored opinions here!
For those sheltered souls (myself included) I have provided a definition.Why would any North American woman do this??? Outside of professional reasons why would a simple, old bikini wax not suffice? Am I ignorant is this just a cultural thing? Am I just out of the waxing loop?
And may I add ....Ouch !

A normal bikini wax is about all I can take. Isn't this why MP was invented?

| You know body hair is really useless....... it's like toe nails. Why the hell do we have it now?? We shave pluck wax, and cream, and then toe talons we clip, yank and file.... Just get rid of it all.......

| I can relate, Pearl. Sometimes those crazy Korean salon women get a little overzealous when I ask for a bikini wax...guess they think I wear a teeny tiny bikini. Ouch.

I waxed my legs a few years ago and it was painful enough......really not THAT bad, but I can't even imagine pouring hot wax "down there", and then ripping it off with a strip of fabric!!!!!!
What if the hot wax got somehwere it wasn't supposed to be--------OWWWWWWW!!!!

One time I went in for a manicure & the crazy Korean salon woman leans over & shouts to me "you eyebrows too bushy!"
Next thing I knew I was lying on a table having hot wax applied to my eyebrows & ripped off. Never saw it coming. Now I know how POW's feel.
One time I had my sister pluck my eyebrows, now that hurt. She's got the tweezer out & asks me "okay, what kind of expression do you want? Angry? Surprised?"
Moral of the story: Never trust a sibling you used to torture when you were kids...
