I love the look of the white dinner jacket especially in warm climates. So James Bondish! 
And I haven't worn hose in years. They're just another torture device. My girlfriends long ago convinced me that on a cruise, you wear open toed sandals and no hose, at least in the Caribbean.

| DH is renting a tux including a white dinner jacket for our upcoming Noordam cruise -- can't wait to see him in that white dinner jacket!!

My DH always takes a tux to wear on formal nights. He says they are just as comfortable for him to wear as a suit (or jacket) and tie. I like to dress a little less formal than him, but I always wear a nice dress on the formal nights.
