I downloaded it a couple of days ago and it is fast!  I use IE mostly but I also use Fire Fox and now Chrome sometimes.  It may need some settings tweaked but I noticed I couldn't add emoticons here on CTT with Chrome.  I'm sure that will get worked out though.

I have been able to enter emoticons fine .... It just looks different when you add them ... it puts in the code for the emoticons ( colon big grin colon )during message entry then after you send you can see the graphic, I just entered this with chrome !! :big grin:

I haven't used Chrome yet, but have noticed the same issue with emoticons on my new Macbook's Safari browser.

We used to use Safari on our Macs at work. We switched to Firefox and it works better for us than either IE or Safari. I have not yet tried Google Chrome.

Cappy, what about it, besides the speed, do you find better than other search engines?

Yup, pretty quick, on the other hand a pencil and paper would be faster then IE.

I like it, but I miss my adblock plug-in for Firefox.  Given Google's business model I seriously doubt they will ever allow an ad-blocker for Chrome.

I've got to download Firefox, I keep hearing good things about it.

I use Firefox almost exclusively. Home and at work. Most everyone at work is using Firefox now too.

Been thinking of downloading the Chrome beta. I like to try out new stuff and several people I trust (yes, you Duckie) are not having problems with it.

I tried FF because I am sick of IE crashing and burning and the fact that is is so slooooooooooooooooow, but FF will not work with accelerators and a couple of others that I use. So now its on to Chrome, just got it so I can't say too much one way or the other, but all my add-ons worked without mods !

I just downloaded it today. Like it so far. Disappointed about the smiley insert problem. I tried to insert a smiley in between already typed text, but it only adds them to the end of the text.

Yeah, I've been using firefox exclusively for a couple of years now....  I still keep IE around for those sites that just won't load on firefox (the nerve :P).

Haven't tried chrome yet, but if it continues to grow I may have to!
