Did it start yesterday, Jeff? I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten any all day today. I kept staring at the screen incredulous that there wasn't any new posts!!!!! Then I came right to CTT and saw plenty!!!!!!! 
Glad to know it's not just me......has it ever happened to you before, Jeff?
I have not had any problems in the past. I think it started a couple of days ago.
It was about the time that I posted something very negative, so I thought Deb just turned it off for me.

I've been getting odd notifications for quite a while - sometimes even a month after they were supposedly sent. For the last couple of days, I haven't gotten ANY notifications. However, it doesn't matter much to me - I usually just use one as a jumping off point to open the new tab and go to CTT - and I can do that with a couple more clicks, without going through my email.

this is funny. i have the exact opposite problem.
i have unchecked notifications several times and still get them.

Have you tried actually going back into whatever thread(s) it is and going down to the "watch topic" button at the bottom left of the thread?? You should be able to "unwatch" it from there too.
But these notifications are screwy on here - sometimes I get PM notices, and sometimes I just "happen" to see that I have a new message...

wld they be sent if i didn't indicate to "watch them"?
hmmmm, i never manually clicked on those, so i didn't think to look at them and unclick them.
i check in often enough to ditch the notifications. and, when they started showing up so much later (about a month ago or so it was, i guess), i decided to stop them altogether. tried several times. most have stopped, but not all.
i will look to see if any particular threads are activated. thanks.
