Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me. When I tried to initially sign up for Cruisetraveltalk, I had problems and couldn't get registered. A poster from another talk location sent an email to someone here and that person added me manually.
That was in September. I have never been able to receive notifcation of new posts to threads I have posted on. I know at the bottom of the page of posts, it has a box that says unwatch topic. I didn't click on that to remove anything. I have also checked my profile to be sure it is checked to allow notification. Any other suggestions as to how to get the notifications?

There have been a few issues with the notifications. I wasn't getting any when having them sent to my regular ISP email. I changed to my Yahoo address and I get them now, but very sporatically and often several days to several weeks later.
It's a known problem and WOW people are hopefully working a fix.
Best way to see the recenly posted threads is to use the recent tab. It gives you all though, not just the ones you have posted on, but it's a good tool to see where people are spending a lot of their time.

It seems to be an intermittent problem. When I first signed up, I got them for a few weeks, then they stopped for a few weeks, and then, they just started up again days ago. Go figure.

Yes, we know about the problem, but the WOW board techies have not been able to figure out why the notifications work/don't work. We aren't due for an upgrade until next year, if at all. Sorry, we tried!

The next best thing is to go to the homepage. At the top, click on the "recent" tab.....that will show you all the new posts. That's what I do!

Did it start yesterday, Jeff? I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten any all day today. I kept staring at the screen incredulous that there wasn't any new posts!!!!! Then I came right to CTT and saw plenty!!!!!!!
Glad to know it's not just me......has it ever happened to you before, Jeff?

Happens to me all the time. Sometime as much as a week after the fact. *sigh* I wish the techies had a resolution for this, but no dice.
