I had a blast on AOS and can't wait for eos next Feb. AOS was the first really big ship. I had sailed Grandeur , NCL's Majesty, and Carnival's Inspiration. Other than that they were smaller vessels. The funny thing is that I never felt crowded even with all those peolpe. I love the big ships, especially port days when everyone gets off and leaves the whole ship for me!!!!

I love the Voyager class ships and am looking forward to the Radiance class but will miss the Royal Promenade. Never felt crowded at all on the Navigator and we were sailing at full capacity both times.

Jeff,
You are having way to much fun with that banana!!!!!

Oh, that pic of the SON brings back such great memories!!!!  It was my first RCCL ship and it's what got me hooked on cruising.  I loved the Viking Crown Lounge up on the smokestack!

Love those older RCI ships. They were really nice looking ships.

I have never tried radiance class. We were thinking of Rapshody but now they have changed itinerary. I guess I'll have to see what's going on for 2008  and see what we can get to. I thought cruising out of Galveston would be a nice change as we have never been there before and thought a nice pre/post cruise would be interesting.

I'm not crazy about the western Caribbean. I am doing it again in February for the first time in six years. I love the eastern so I tend to pick the cruises out of Miami or FLL. Those are my two favorite ports to cruise from.

Why don't you like the western route, Gordon?

I've done them all and like all of them. I really like the Southern ports, but refuse to fly in & out of San Juan. So, I have to go on the 10-11 day cruises, in order  be able to get all the way down to the Southern islands!    :tropics:

I generally like the southern routes as well. I have no problems flying in/out of San Juan. It's 3 1/2 hours nonstop and priced just a little more than Miami. I feel like I start my vacation as soon as I get off the plane. Western is my least favorite. I most likely wouldn't even get off the ship in most ports. Now,that is usually a good thing as I feel like I have then ship all to myself. I would like to stop in Belize though, hven't been to that port yet.
