Wow, that's going to be something.  I'd love to see it when it's built.  I'm not sure about sailing it though...maybe once to say that I did.

Thanks for sharing.

That's a pretty neat concept.  We probably won't see her much up in NY.

Geeeezzzzuuuusss! Its big! Looks like a lot of interior balconies and they appear to be a good size, notwithstanding this is an artist's conceptual drawing. It is one big motherass ship.

If you watch the two videos here, you will see just how large the balcony cabins are. This is going to be a big ship.

Interesting. Very pretty, but I definitely wouldn't want to be on a North Atlantic T/A on her. :holymoly:

I agree----it looks very nice and will be very popular, I'm sure.
But I wouldn't want to be on any ocean on her!  I'm breaking out in hives just thinking about an emergency and having to abandon ship with all those people on board!  Talk about total bedlam! :holymoly:

I'm not too crazy about the size either, but the concept pictures are great! Trees! I've never seen trees like that on a ship. Big open spaces too!

My son is 13 and he wants to go on this ship.  We took him on the Freedom of the Seas for his birthday in 2006.  He loved the Flow-Rider.

I imagine it will be very popular with families with young children/teens!  Lots for them to do.

My mother was on FoS in 10/2006 and at the time said she LOVED it. Now, talking to her day before yesterday, she says it was too big. Go figure?

FOS was awesome for us.  To be honest, we never ventured into the Waterworks area due to the age of the children.  My two only wanted to be at the FlowRider, Rock Climbing Wall or ice skating.  Now DH and I were found at the pool or  bar with our friends.

The Genesis looks interesting.  I mean it is a floating city.  I would like to go one time but I do enjoy the midsized ships better.  I think those ships are easier to navigate and also the crew just seems a bit special.  However, I can not complain about anything on the Freedom, well except for our servers in the diningroom.  They kind of stunk.
