Royal Caribbean has submitted a letter of intent to the Port Authority at Port Canaveral to homeport Freedom of the Seas at Port Canaveral starting in May 2009.  Great news for those waiting to hear what ship would replace Mariner when it moves to LA.

DANG!!!!!!!  I was hoping it would be one of their mid-size ships like Legend/Splendour or Brilliance/Radiance.............

Port Canaveral will be very convenient for us starting next year, but I don't want to sail on a ship that enormous........

Good for us though.  Flights to Orlando are much easier to leave from Manchester and then get over to PC.  I like this.
