Has anyone sailed on the Navigator recently?  We've onboard, October 6, out of Southampton and would like some opinions and thoughts.  This sailing is to the Canary Islands.

I have sailed on the Navigator twice. The last time was in December of 05. She still ranks as one of the best ships that I have cruised to date. She is a beautiful ship and Captain Bang is the best. He runs a tight ship and it shows. I have some photos in my link below of the ship. If I can answer any questions please ask.

I also sailed the Navigator in 2005. Sorry it's not more recent. I agree with Gordon. Loved the ship itself and Capt. Bang was very popular with both the crew and the guests.

Thanks for the replies.  I seem to be the only one on this sailing, but all of the balcony cabins are sold out and I only took one.  Perhaps the Brits don't know about our cruise boards?

Hi Len. We don't get many Brits or Scots here but I have seen boards dedicated to cruising from those areas.

If you don't mind me asking, where on the internet do I find all of the Brits, etc.?

Whisper whisper - I am on here - I am a Brit!!  They come in all shapes and sizes you know!!

Will be back on the Navigator for the ta on November 5th.  That's Bonfire Night, so it should be a spectacular sailaway if the weather holds.

And the Captain will be the best on the high seas .............Captain Rick Sullivan!!  :kiss:An extremely gentlemanly and old-fashioned kind of Captain.  We had the pleasure of dining with him in February and he is a total charmer!!  I don't expect to receive another invitation - had more than my fair share - but he will always be a favourite - I rank him on a par with Capt. Bernard Warner - now Commodore of the P&O line.  We knew him on Princess (Golden I think - could be Grand though) and knew he would go far.  Capt. Warner - another Brit!!

BTW - always quite a few Brits on the transatlantics.

we did the transatlantic on 4/12/08 and loved the ship. But they had stablizer problems and had to cut one of them off, or I think it was just one. It won't go into drydock till 2009 some time.

Hope this helps
