Hahaha, and that you will! Ask away if you have any questions so far. The crew definitely have it made on this ship. They have time to talk and to treat everyone so special is that they too get to relax and enjoy Bermuda. They also get to meet up with all their friends/family from the Dream and Dawn. The same goes for the passengers. It was quite a different experience for me to remain in a port four days.

Coka, did you happen to run into Nenette on the pool deck -- she's a bar waitress? Or Jun, he was a bar manager last time we sailed on the Majesty.
Is Oscar still the matre'd in four seasons? Noel was the assistant when we sailed.
We LOVE this ship, and will (and already do!) miss her so much in Boston!

I did not find Nenette. In the Four Seasons, Anton Sebayang, the Asst. Maitre D was around. I am not sure about Jun...those nametags are getting awfully hard to read!

Okay, who is older? hehehe
Happy Birthday to you too!
I want you know I proudly wore my black fitted t-shirt with sparkly stones reading J'ADORE MONTREAL. Expect some cruisers who have never been to come your way! I told them all about Crescent Street!

As always I loved your review. You always approach the story from such a unique perspective.
The one thing I would caution others being Platinum does not always get you on the VIP list and the perks.
Lizzer and I made sure the the officers knew they would have a the "real" Godmother of the Gem would be onboard celebrating a special birthday

Sorry hon....you're the older one
Thanks for sending some tourists our way. With our dollar doing so well and the gas prices so high and the weather just plain sucking this summer, you lovely people from south of our border are staying away so we can use all the help we can get. I'm glad that you wore that t-shirt proudly. We should make you the godmother of Crescent St....and yes, it's still Crescent St. to us anglo Quebecers. :eyeroll:
I read in your review that you live near Lake Champlain. I didn't realize what close neighbors we actually were. We used to have a place in Plattsburgh, NY when I was a teenager. Spent many a weekend there and in Burlington, VT. (the bars closed later there

Are you serious or just teasing? I thought the only thing they knew was that it was my birthday and I was platinum, just like any other cruiser. There were no little stars next to my name as there was on the Pearl. If true, then you must tell me who on the Majesty knew ahead of time. You can IM me. Gosh, and here not knowing anyone on the Majesty and not knowing any of the passengers, I was thinking I was a secret shopper cruiser. Joke's on me!
Others on CC are saying the breakfast/lunch thing in Le Bistro is offered to platinum on the Dream/Majesty. That is not really true either?
Do I need to correct anything over there?

I sent you a PM with the details but Brian Walters was well aware. The Platinum/Gold thing is one of those YMMV. It seems to be different from ship to ship and cruise to cruise. Sometimes none get cagneys, sometimes Platinum only, and sometimes both.
Gold for sure did not get an invite on the Jade. I can not say for Platinum as other then me I did not know any others onboard.

Ah, I bet it has to do with the numbers of passengers sailing then. Makese sense to fill the capacity to keep us coming back!
Thanks for the info!

Louise,
Be careful what you tell Lizzer, she is very sneaky, especially when she contacts shoreguy
I am glad that you had a good cruise and especially glad that your birthday was recognized as you were traveling alone. Remember that next year, if it works our for you, you begin your birthday on a cruise next year so the celebration starts with you.

Hi Jim! Welcome back! I just read on CC your post. Thank you again for taking the time to make sure a birthday wish was sent to me. I asked my stewards who did it but they just said someone went in and decorated. Did Liz have a good birthday cruise too?
