You are a good boy, Barney! Although, you shouldn't have taken a leak on the kennel owner's carpet.
Barney, I just sent you a PM (j/k).

Let’s see if we are out from behind the mountain. No internet this morning
Todays news
A couple of new things at least for me.
Cagneys Breakfast now has a small buffet area. Same main menu but they added fruit, cold cereal, locks & cream cheese, cold meats, bread and rolls, juices, at the buffet.
My favorite perk so far. I have an NCL tour booked in 45 minutes. The shore excursion manager is in the Star bar every morning. No need for me to go to Spinnakers and wait for the tour to called. They just delivered my stickers with coach # to the cabin. Just get off the ship and first choice of seats on the coach. It is like a get out of jail free card..
Bama – trust me I did not make all those drinking options yesterday or I would have been at the bottom of the sea.
Barb – I know you are lurking – tell bob seas have been calm so far – mostly 1-4 feet. Last night up to 4-7 feet – smooth sailing so far. Jullian was asking about you when he called me.
First look a t Norway this morning – not like any place I have seen. This should be an adventure
Off to grab some rations before the 6 hour tour – in port until 9 pm. Sunset 11:49 PM

2:00 am – all is sort of light and grey – seas calm < 1 foot - 56F – heading 312 – speed 7 knots – distance to next port 66 NM - sunrise 4:09 am
Casino was good again tonight once I got to play. I am not sure what fool set up the tables. 13 of 15 tables empty. The only 3 card poker table 3 deep and 2 people playing at one blackjack table. I finally got a seat at 1 am. Made a couple hundred and headed for the cabin. I stopped and dumped a lone dollar in a Wheel of Fortune machine and walked away with another 100 on one spin.
Dinner was at Cagneys tonight after a long afternoon tour. 5 1/2 hours with 4 of it in a coach. Not what the tour description indicated. I expected a long boat ride and a short coach ride back. All that said it was beautiful. Pictures to follow.
HD and F&B dir stopped by at dinner and wanted to know why the TA from Hell was asking them questions about me. My name, where I live, what I do. I told them she was a stalker and tell her I am with the CIA. Everyone got a laugh out of it. I am getting worried. If I see her tomorrow this will stop now. No more grin and go.
Well it is after 2 and we dock in 6 hours. No plans yet for the day. One thing for sure if I head out from the ship I will bring rations. A pizza was almost $40 in the shop near the pier today.
On a down note my son just checked his email and his grandfather my ex FIL passed away today. They were close and he will miss the funeral. He did get to see him the day before we left for London.
Good night all.

I took the dog to the kennel this morning and gave them is vaccination records. They said sorry we can not take him. It seems I needed to get one of the vaccinations more then 2 weeks prior and it has only been 10 days.
So does anyone think a kennel you would put your dog in would have any space of the 4th holiday week. I made some calls from there and no luck. I even tried the vet to board him no luck.
This called for desperate measures. I can be a real A hole when I have to. I had one more shot. The owner was in the lobby with four older ladies who were touring the kennel to find a place for their precious little dog. He was doing his best sales pitch.
I picked up the phone and pretended to call the vet back. This is shoreguy I need to bring Barney in to have him put to sleep. My jaw quivering hand over my eyes (fake tears would have been over the top). The ladies to the rescue - "your not going to make that man put his dog to sleep" Well Barney will be spending my vacation in the owners house and not stuck in the kennel. Sort of like an upsell.

Poor little "Barney".

I digress...... Jim might be a good son, but not good enough to take his parents and upgrade them!!! (shaking head)... Inside upgraded the folks!!!
Very sad about your son's grandfather. Is your son older to understand not being able to be there?Last edited on Wed Jul 2nd, 2008 01:13 am by seawitches

Does anyone else think that it's beyond coincidence that the TAFH has now shown up on her THIRD cruise with Jim??? Can one obtain a maritime restraining order?

The two inaugurals I can understand, since she's a TA, but showing up on this one, too, goes beyond simple coincidence. IMHO.

The first ime back on NCL in 2003 she was the assistant CD and called bingo. I won $4000 and used it to book two more cruises and the run was on.
I wonder if that is the same Julie who was CD on the Gem last Feb ? Such a wonderful energetic girl. Perhaps she remembers two Quebecers who chatted her up one afternoon on promenade deck A real sweetie
Shoreguy I didnèt realize you were into bingo

Did y'all hear that Shoreguy is booked on the 19-day repo cruise from San Francisco to Santiago on the Sun that leaves on 11/4/2008??? I even heard that he already pre-booked the "Alligator Encounter" and "Swimming with Piranhas" shore excursions. Is anyone else gonna book onto this cruise and see if we can all survive 19 days of partying with the immortal SG?????
